The Armagh Diocesan Board of Mission would like to thank all those who took part in our annual project and competition. This year’s project, ‘E4L – Education for Liberation’, was provided by Crosslinks. The project aims to reach out and show the love of God in a very practical way – by providing literacy and numeracy classes for children in India.
You may be interested to know that, this year, 151 children from 10 different parishes entered the competition. There were many excellent pictures and greeting cards.
The overall diocesan winners were:
Age 4-7
1st Prize: Emma Jane McFarland (Clogherny)
2nd Prize: Carly Stewart (Ballinderry)
Age 8-11
1st Prize: Elizabeth Lennox (Magherafelt)
2nd Prize: Dylan Emerson (Tartaraghan)
Age 11+
1st Prize: Alicia White (Mullabrack)
2nd Prize: Amy Hanna (Tartaraghan)
